Damn Good Robusto Cigar Review

This 5×50 stick from BestCigarPrices.com features a dark tan very firmly packed wrapper with a dry toothy fine sand paper feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, double cap and pungent hay and manure aroma. First light reveals a slightly snug draw with good smoke output, showing medium bodied flavors of a slightly sweet and very smooth oily tobacco with a short peppery finish. The first third shows the same draw flavors while the finish gets much bolder and longer adding a big pepper and spice kick to the mix. The 1/2 way point comes at 30 minutes with flawless performance and very similar flavors so far. the draw sweetness goes way down while the pepper and spice finish combo mellows. There is a touch of strength coming in, we’ll see how it ends up. Finishing at the hour mark it kept the same great burn all the way down with no further changes. Thank you to BestCigarPrices.com for sending this in for review!

I can’t help but clarify that palindromes are spelled the same frontwards and backwards, such as “Go hang a salami; I’m a lasagna hog.” The spaces and punctuation don’t count; all that matters is the sequence of letters being the same from right to left as left to right. But if you turn this character string upside down, it’s not really meaningful. But consider a word like NOON. It reads the same whether you look at it right side up or upside down. These are called “ambigrams.” Usually, graphic designers construct ambigrams using artistic fonts, like on this band. To be fair, sometimes these are referred to as “vertical palindromes.” Very cool, no matter WHAT you call it!

    • Yep, someone corrected that on YouTube also – thanks

I just bought a few of these based on the review. Excellent stick for the price! Very much as reviewed. Lots of pepper and a great performer!
