How To Take A Great Cigar Photo With Your Phone

I’m waging war against poor cellphone photos! Too often we are bombarded by blurry or out of focus photos all over the internet by cigar lovers that just haven’t been taught a couple important points about how to use the camera function of their phone. So here’s a real fast easy tutorial that will dramatically help your photo quality and hopefully quell the onslaught of crappy pictures we have to see! :)

Yes! Somebody finally said something :) thanks Bryan, for the post!

  • v12jagman

Too simple. Awesome advise. Many thanks. Can you make this a post on CO FANS Facebook page.

Feel free – that’s for you guys :)

  • ptyler

Not sure that function exists on my Blackberry Bold…piece of crap camera!

  • MorganGeo

Great advice for everyone and it gave me a chuckle.

  • nhahguod

Yeah, Bryan! Thanks for sharing your wisdom in your own unique style. This should add to the quality of cigar photos posted everywhere.

Fantastic Brian, I’m ashamed to admit that I’ve probably watched more of your videos over the past year than any other site. Keep up the great work!

    • MorganGeo

Don’t be ashamed, be glad. The CO reviews blow all the other reviewers out of the water. (In my opinion) :)

Great post. Should be cross-posted with PTO.

Excellent video, Bryan! It really surprises me how many people don’t know how to take a decent picture with a cell phone.

    Awesome video…and funny!

My phone photos would still come out crappy because I do not have a smart phone.

    Another informative video, Bryan.

That’s a crazy stack of cigar boxes. Out of curiosity, I notice they’re shrink wrapped, and I assume you’re not standing in a walk-in humidor. How long can you store boxes like that?

Most of the year here it’s perfect humidor conditions in the house. I keep the A/C at 72 and it’s usually between 60 and 70% RH in the back room. Those are for a photoshoot and they don’t stay long anyway.

Also, I don’t know what you have against people posting pictures of their crotches on the internet.

I love this video. “You’re gonna delete that crap”. So funny! I take pictures of the cigars I really like, and I have found that sometimes just cleaning the lint off the lens makes all the difference. You’re the best, Glynn.
