La Gloria Cubana Trunk Show Liga JD-05

This 7.2×62 stick features a dark brown spotty and mottled wrapper with medium veins, tight invisible seams, a firm oily pack with slight tooth and a sweet hay aroma. First light reveals a slightly snug draw with good medium-full bodied smoke production showing a rich sweet earth with a bit of a zing going through the long finish. The first third moves in the same direction with great performance, adding a touch of pepper through the long finish and dropping the body to medium. The 1/2 way point comes at 45 minutes with exactly the same flavor profile. I had to make another cut to get the draw back, after it started getting plugged near the end of the first third but it’s prefect after that again. Ending at 1:30 the whole cigar proved to be very consistent. Thank you very much to General Cigar for providing this for review!

Sounds neat. I’ve never seen a smokeable band. Hope I can find them locally,

    Thanks for the review

I’ve had the standard and Serie R and found both to be good smokes. This one sounds like it would be fun to smoke, especially to watch the band go up. Wonder if the local B&M has them and would say anything if I light it up in the store.
