A Fun Shoot With A CO Tie-in :)

Posted on Saturday, December 21, 2013 in World of CO

I love mixing my love of cigars and photography, and this time the link went backwards! Usually I get to shoot cigars, but this time it was a viewer who hired me to do a photo-ninja shoot of his daughter getting engaged (she didn’t know) and then the after-party, which the groom-to be had all planned with her family there :) It was awesome – I love it when a plan comes together!

    Bryan,

I want to say thank you so very much for the fantastic job and great pictures that you took of my daughter and her fiancé on their special day Saturday.

BOTL/SOTL – I had contacted Bryan initially to arrive at our home for the engagement party with both families after the actual the engagement took place. Bryan made a great suggestion to take pictures of the actual engagement (in stealth mode) and we all thought it was a fantastic idea. My daughter was not aware and we were not sure if she would approve but we gave the OK as we had a good feeling that she was going to accept the engagement. (What if she didn’t????) As it turned out, she said yes and she was very grateful for Bryan capturing the moment as well as pictures of the after party.

As I mentioned to Bryan, I am not sure how common it is these days, but, how many people have the opportunity to capture the actual engagement? Some might not feel comfortable with it. Thankfully it turned out that my daughter appreciated the idea.

In addition, Bryan had all the pictures available for us online immediately that evening so that our extended families across the country could view them that same day.

Anyway, Bryan, thank you once again for a great job and also thank you for being part of our special day. I hope the experience worked in your advantage and I hope that you had a great time at the party as well.

All the best to all for a great Holiday Season.
