La Perla Habana Classic Robusto Cigar Review

This 5×52 stick features a dark brown oily firmly packed wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, a triple cap and peppery cedar aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with medium-full bodied flavors of a very smooth oily pepper and leather followed by a smooth zing finish with an oil left in the mouth. The first third continues the near full flavors with perfect construction and plentiful thick smoke output showing a combo of leather, wood, sweetness and pepper on the draw, leaving the sweet wood through the long smooth finish. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 20 minutes, the sweetness drops along with the leather and pepper just leaving a deep earth that lingers long on the finish. Ending out at 50 minutes the last third showed no changes.

    Sounds interesting enough to try!

The marketing of the La Pearla Habana brand is a bit confusing with all of the Black Pearl variaties but the product is pretty good. This doesn’t sound like one of their better sticks.

Sounds like a great stick! I love this type of flavors.

Thanks for your honest reviews man.
