Nicarao Exclusivo Toro Cigar Review

This 6×52 stick features a very dark almost black firmly packed wrapper with an oily gritty feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, double cap and a rich musty chocolate aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with good medium bodied smoke showing flavors of an oily, smooth leather and a short slightly bitter finish. The first third sticks with the smooth leather core getting oily and adding a touch of a white pepper tingle through the now long finish. Construction is excellent with a perfect draw, burn and smoke output. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 25 minutes the leather changes to a deep earthiness with a musty damp finish and the bit of pepper zing is almost gone. Finishing at 55 minutes the last third showed no further changes. Thank you very much to Angelo Solomite for sending this sample in!

I see C.I. carries this brand in several different blends- sounds like it’s worth a try!

The Nicarao (nik ar rou)line is a well hidden gem and I am happy to see you confirm my opinion of this stick. Currently they can be had for a song..but thanks to you Bryan, that may change..ha! ha!

I bought a 10 pack of this cigar as well as the Nicarao Especial after watching some interviews with the creator on the cigar.com website. Both cigars are very good.

This is one of my favorite brands. I always have some in my humidor. The maker also has a great cigar book “The Cigar from Soil To Soul” very informative read.

Bought this based on the review and Bryan was right on the money, as usual. This is a very good smooth stick. Nice.
