Aging Room M-356 Presto Cigar Review

This 4.5×48 stick features dark brown slightly toothy oily soft wrapper with small veins, tight seams, double cap and rich chocolate and wood aroma. First light reveals a loose draw with good but thin smoke output showing full bodied flavors of a smooth tobacco, big pepper and spice with a light earth followed by a peppery zingy finish. The first third proves quite complex and full of flavor, still full bodied with thick rich smooth smoke output, a razor sharp burnline and the ash falls in an inch chunk. Draw flavors are a slight sweetness, cream, a fleeting steak note just before the finish with peppery zingy earth powering through till the next draw. 30 minutes in ending the 2nd third flavors go to a very smooth and creamy earth on the draw while the finish gets a little shorter, thicker, drops the pepper but bring in an oily spice left of the lips. Strength slowly gets up to a medium, giving me a good buzz. Ending at 45 minutes the last bit showed no further transitions. Thank you very much to Chris Glenn for sending this in for review!

The first time I tried these had some burn issues and an overall bitterness. Definitely will give this one another try. Nice flavor profile in your review.

Sounds like a good smoke. Never heard of it. It also isn’t on my usual buy sites. What would you compare it to and is it worth shopping around for? Thanks.

So I smoked this a few months ago and unfortunately I had draw/tunneling and burn issues and had to chuck it 15 minutes in. If I ever smoke another one, hope it burns normally.

A friend gave me one of these. I have had it in my humidor. My first impression was very spicy.. pepper and cream as you advised. However the strength came up at the last third to the level I started to feel sick..

I got an f55 in my humi. Anyone have one of these yet?

I find it weird that you don’t look at the cigar tastes on other sites to see what it’ll be like but your last 2 reviews have both had a meaty taste which you haven’t had in a while. Luck of the draw I guess.

I have tried this cigar several times in a couple of different sizes and just do not see the appeal. At least one of them made me sick. I have seen several reviews and almost all of them liked this stick a lot. For some reason I don’t seem to be getting all the flavors everyone else is picking up, and oddly enough it is really only on this particular stick. I vaguely remember having had another aging room a long time ago before I tried the M356 and remember liking it. I would like to try the f55 and maybe some of the other lines and see how they compare.
