exciting ………. its that time of year again!!

    • Jason Isbaner

Yes it is! Good for us

      • rgorman

I’m new to cigars in the sense that I am being more serious about smoking and collecting them so I had to ask this; Is this a common time of year for releases in general or is it because of IPCPR? Forgive me if that’s a silly question too.

        • jpculp57

This is generally the time that manufacturer’s roll out their new lines because they want to be able to take orders and give out samples at IPCPR.

    • Mike K

      Cant wait to try these!!!!

  • TimB

More good ones on the way.

  • Jared

Interesting that they are almost all smaller ring gauges. Maybe someone is listening?

    • rgorman

I was thinking the same thing. I smoked a Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970 in a Machito size the other day and that is my new fave, probably ever. I am not a fan of huge ring gauges.

      • jpculp57

Matt Booth knows what real cigar smokers like. He seems to do a really go job of listening and not is not just out there to make a quick buck.
        He’s a good guy.

    • Craig

Maybe the smaller ring gauges ARE coming back! It makes good economic sense as well. Far less leaves needed to make a 42 versus a 60 !!!

  • gholmes9

Sounds like it may be a great release! I hope to see them soon!

  • rgorman

    Those wrappers look insanely good!

    • HerbalJedi

Ya they do, think they’ll be hard to find though?

  • lazyboy

Another brand I’ve never tried. These look tasty. I always see this brand at the local shop but for some reason always pass em up. Prob has to do with price. I’m pretty cheap at the local spots. Mark ups are insane. How do they stay in business. Why would I spend $150 for a box down the street when I can go online and spend only $50 on the same.

    • jpculp57

What would happen if all of the local shops closed up? How would you get to try a cigar? Or how would you hang out with other cigar people? Or what about cigar events?
I too buy online but I always try and spend the same amount at my local stores as I do online. I can’t imagine not having my local shops around.

      • lazyboy

I get all that and your right. Just get discouraged with there prices sometimes. If I want to hang out and bullshit with other guys that’s great. As far as trying new smokes I buy a lot of samplers on line which the local spots don’t offer. But could never spend as much $$ locally as online. $50 here doesn’t get me close to what it does online.

  • That Mexican wrapper has become popular lately.

    • eric.hanson

I agree, it seems like lots of new cigar releases I see are using Mexican wrappers.

  • weimerad

    Looks like a good blend

  • garlar10

Room 101 has had some solid sticks. My birthday is in mid october so this might be a good bday cigar.

  • rockjock

Heard good things about 101. The one I had before was pretty decent. Will have to seek this out.

  • kurngar

Another one for me to keep an eye out for. I have smoked room 101’s before and they were pretty good. I also enjoyed the smoke inn blend that Matt Booth had a hand in.

  • derek_straus

those look awesome! and not a bad msrp ether!

  • Gigalo de Vitolas

I’ve had my fair share of 101 sticks, none of them amazed me but also had no complaints. I’ll prob give these a try too.
