Nomad Cigar Company to Release Nomad S-307

Esteli, Nicaragua (July 1, 2013) – Nomad Cigar Company is pleased to
announce a new fall Nicaraguan blend called the Nomad S-307.

The cigar scheduled to be released in September/October (2013) and will be
made available to Nomad authorized retailers.

The final production is a box-pressed cigar with an Ecuadorian Sumatra
wrapper called the Nomad S-307.

The cigar will be released in the following sizes and will be available
for pre-purchase at IPCPR.

Toro (6×50)
Robusto (5×50) and
Torpedo (6 1/2 x 52)

“I am honored to have my first full production of a Nicaraguan cigar being
blended and manufactured at Tabacalera Fernandez. The new blend is amazing
and I am thrilled to expand the Nomad cigar line to include Nicaragua – in
a really big way,” said Fred Rewey, Nomad Founder.

Nomad Cigar Company launched in 2012 with four sizes of classic hand
rolled Dominican cigars and quickly grew the line to seven sizes; not to
mention conquering social media (@Godfadr on Twitter).

In spring of 2013 Nomad created Esteli Lot 1386, Rewey’s first project in
Nicaragua, available in limited edition 12 count boxes. Nomad’s next step
is this full production of Nicaraguan cigars.

Good for him, he’s a solid blender. I hope to try it when it comes out.

  4. rgorman says:

Brother from another forum just sent me 3 AJF cigars and I am very impressed. He is quickly becoming one of my favorite flavor makers!

  5. puffrey says:

Yes it is a no brainer….when I hear AJ’s name attached to a stick, I buy it without a thought.

His stuff is top notch quality, draw and burn are always excellent

I’m sure most of us have heard of AJF, but I’ve never heard of or seen a Nomad cigar until today. Does anyone know of any retailers? (Online or B & M) Or if you know anything particular from firsthand experience, please let me know.

This is a completely off subject post but am I the only one that loves the new stogie boys cartoon ad on the left? I’m proud to be American. LOL =)

  10. AngSolo says:

Never heard of Nomad cigars, but all the AJ Fernandez cigars I have had have been very good. Just had an Oval last night which was great although I did start feeling some strength toward the end. I would definitely try a Nicaraguan Nomad knowing AJ is involved. Unfortunatley living in NY I do my cigar shopping online. The NY tax on cigars is 75% of wholesale price. Ouch !

    • TimB says:

Wow I thought NV was bad. Use to go to a nice BM here but do all my shopping online now. You can’t beat the prices.

      • Chris Tivnan says:

I do boxes online. The BM’s price is too high. Would be a waste of money. I like buying singles from local shops but spending $30 extra is a waste of money. When I can use a coupon from famous smoke or another company.
I’ve gotten several over humidified sticks from them though.

Bryan, where does Gary Griffith come into play in this. I know he is affiliated with Emilio. Just was curious. Got to meet him a few times and he’s a great guy.
