Emilio Cigars Series H Maduro Robusto Cigar Review

This 5.5×50 stick features a very dark almost black dry slightly toothy wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, firm even construction, a double cap and sweet subtle tobacco aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with copious amounts of thick medium-full bodied smoke showing flavors of a deep smooth earth with a slight chocolate sweetness, while the finish is long and full bringing a big pepper zing to the mix. The first third develops much the same but adding a slightly meaty, savory flavor on the draw and dropping much of the pepper from the finish. Hitting the 1/2 way point at 30 minutes the only shift has been the body down to a medium. Burn is very good, the ash fell in a solid chunk at the start of the 2nd third. Ending at 60 minutes the last third kept the same great flavor profile, with a bit of creaminess coming just at the last inch where it started to burn hot. Thank you very much to Emiliocigars.com for sending this in for review!

    Hey Bryan,
I just purchased a few of Gary’s cigars. I met him at one of the B&M’s he manages here in Pa. Extremely nice guy. I think Emilio is going to make a big splash on the industry if they haven’t already. Great review Bryan, Thanks. And no I don’t work for Emilio. Haha.
