Rafaeli’s Maduro Robusto Cigar Review

This 5×50 stick features a dark brown mottled wrapper with a very light pack, small veins, a few stretch marks, tight seams, a single cap and faint manure smell. First light reveals a great draw with excellent smoke output showing medium bodied flavors of a slightly sweet and smooth tobacco, and a long zingy finish of the same. The first third goes in 20 minutes with perfect performance and the exact same flavor profile as the start. Hitting the 1/2 way point 30 minutes in the ash drops off in a solid chunk, burn is perfect and flavors change to a tangy sweet tobacco with a short clean finish. Ending at 50 minutes the last third shows no profile change, getting warm at the nub and the finish growing a bit longer. Thank you Rafaeli’s for sending this in for review!

I was interested… up until I saw that Rafaeli’s appears to affiliate with the Knights Templar, the sworn enemies of the Brotherhood of Assassins, who seek the locations of the Pieces of Eden for their own nefarious purposes. (What do you mean, “it’s only a game?!”)
