Guy Stuff – Smoked Ribs & BBQ Tips

This time around I have one of my favorite ways to make juicy, tender, fall-off-the-bone pork ribs! I’ll have more rib videos in the future, there are LOTS of great combinations and techniques for doing them, and I usually make something different each time! I also give you lots of general tips about equipment, BBQ and prep! Stay hungry!

Ribs is one of my favorites on the grill, I am definitely adding this recipe to the list. 🙂

Hey Bryan, Did you have to add more coals after a couple hrs? If so how many during the 5 hrs time?

    • I went through that in the vid – nope!

    • EddieJH

There are some charcoal products that are different depending on how long they burn for. I always get the Kingsford Original. 🙂

hey brian, at the end of the video u said ” it will b hard not to eat it before your wife gets home.” also after u let it sit for 20-30 min in the foil, it prolly cools off. so my question is what do u do to reheat it or keep it hot till then?

    • It stays piping hot for an hour, until you open it.

Thats some serious dedication to your ribs! and looks well worth it. I’ll have to try this recipe out.

Also Bryan, a cool way to tie in cigars to your recipe segments would be to add a part at the end with a cigar you would recommend having after that meal. Just an idea.

    • I actually not in to pairing at all, I just smoke cigars for cigars

      • kprichardson7

fair enough, just thought i’d mention the idea

  • ghoudy

Hey Bryan, in your SPARE time could you invent ‘Smell-a-vision’ please? I thought for a brief second that I actually caught a whiff of those ribs when you opened the foil. Nice vid and technique. Going to give this a try soon.

Well my ribs have been on the grill for 2 hours now and I just sauced them up. I don’t know if I can hold out for the full 5 hours though. They smell too good!

    • Awesome! \O/

      • cigarhobby85

Wow those ribs were amazing. From now on I’m cooking ribs at home. Being onthe wings video!

  • smokethis

  • Orrza

this one made me drool for about 53 minutes…
please don’t post anymore of these…
    (just kidding… please do!)

    • EddieJH

I know how you feel. This video made me feel like eating and I just ate. Lol.

  • eric.hanson

I’m not the biggest rib person in the world, but these look amazing!

  • EddieJH

I do my ribs differently, I only add powder recipes and I add brown sugar to it. In the grill it all just caramelizes. It is really good. 🙂
