Cordoba & Morales Grand Solomone Cigar Review

I’m very embarrassed, I accidentally produced this originally with the wrong name, getting it mixed up with another special unbanded cigar. The video has been corrected along with this post and link below!

This 7x~56 perfecto shaped stick features a very complex cross-hatch striped wrapper consisting of several different strips in a beautiful presentation. It has minimal veins, an even spongy pack and pungent hay aroma. First light reveals a smooth mild-medium grassy flavor profile with good smoke output and an easy draw. The first third quickly develops to a richer more complex blend showing coffee, cedar, a bit of tobacco and pepper – almost changing draw to draw. Body is medium and construction is flawless. The ash holds on a couple inches at a time and the finish is long and smooth. Ending at 1:35 the last bit continued the same profile! Thank you to my good friends at Cordoba & Morales for hooking me up with these!

To win one of these and a handful of other cool cigars, click the tweet or like button below, share it, comment below with which one you did and what your preferred smoke time for a cigar is! I’ll pick a random winner in a week :) Entrants must be 18 years of age+ and be a US resident.

I Facebooked it! My preferred smoke time is around about 90 minutes.

  • jwbrocks80

I liked it in YouTube! Perfect amount of cigar smoking time is never the same-as long as it takes to relax and clear my mind.

  • Jbenoit9

Facebook for me. I prefer a 90 minute smoke when I have time. Preferably a churchill.

  • MaybachAnderson

What’s going Bryan I clicked the like button on facebook and the smoke time I like is around 1 hour 15 to 1 hour 30. Thanks a lot and keep up the good work.

      What’s going “on”

  • Bruiser

Liked on Facebook. 1.5 hours is optimal smoke time for me. Enough to feel like I got my money’s worth but not so long that I get bored.

  • Vertigo4765

    I Tweeted it.
The best length for me is around 1hr 30min
perfect time for an old episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000!!

“Facebooked”, novice cigar enthuses, I don’t have a lot of time to enjoy a good cigar. but when i do the longer the better. granted its a really good one. Thanks Bryan!

Bryan, Facebook like here. I’m also a new subscriber AND a new cigar smoker. I wanted to let you know that I agree with you as far as the shaping is concerned. I don’t think it adds anything except aesthetic value. I have recently been turned on to some tapered cigars from Cipriano that I enjoy very much. They burn well, taste good, and the tapering doesn’t produce any issues. Sometimes I feel like the humidity in the area you live in and the humidors your selecting from play a role in the burn as well, and you really have to kind of figure out what works for you. Anyhow, my favorite burn times are 45 minutes and an hour +. Sometimes I like a short and tasty cigar that I can take with me to a party. Sometimes I also like a cigar that I can relax with on my recliner at home and puff away for a while.

FB. Hmm.. around and hour fifteen, I suppose?

  • cigarsmoker777

I liked this on Facebook, and the perfect smoke time depends on what youre doing i’d have to say.. with friends… maybe 1 hour 15 minutes. Random smokes alone would be prefered closer to 45 minutes

  • Les

I tweeted! I like my smokes to last about an hour.

  • ParadiseCove

Shared on Facebook. 90 minutes makes for a sweet smoke..

  • smokethis

I liked it on FB. 1 hour is the perfect smoking time for me.

  • Gaminghalb

I tweeted… My preferred time depends on what I am doing. If I have to say a specific time about 75 minutes.

  • antomos

I liked it on youtube and Facebook. My perfect time for a cigar is about an hour. Thanks Bryan!

  • Marc

    That’s kool. …

  • ramrally

I liked this on facebook. I don’t always smoke cigars, but when I do, I prefer them to last an hour.

  • jimjesus

I tweeted. (I don’t facebook) I prefer a a really long burn time because I like to smoke during a movie.

  • morpi167

I facebook liked it. This review had an epic cigar, a work of art! Keep it up Bryan. I like my cigars to be around and hour and a half typically, but if I’m short on time, I have a specific stick I like that lasts me about a half hour to 45 minutes.

  • Emerald Irish

I liked it on facebook and tweeted it as well. Personally i enjoy my cigars to be a long and enjoyable smoke, a couple of hours if i can manage it. I have cigarillos and such if i just need something quick, but i like my cigars to be a lengthy and enjoyable experience.

Great review as always by the way

  • Zombieno1

Liked it on facebook and YouTube. I love finding out that there’s a message at the end. Great idea from that movie.

For me it depends on what the near future has in store. A corona that lasts for 30-45 is good for work sense that phone on my hip may ring at anytime. At home by myself it’s 1:10-1:30 so I don’t get bored. But with a fellow smoker(s) it can last as long as the conversations last.

  • walshy

Hey Bryan, I liked it on Facebook. Great review as always. my optimal smoke time is about an 1h 15 min. Any less not getting much out of it. Any more I definitely start getting bored.
