Blanco Liga Exclusiva de Familia Torpedo Maduro Cigar Review

This 6.5×54 stick features a very dark brown wrapper with a thick firm toothy feel, minimal veins, tight seams, dense feel and a mild sweet cedar aroma.  First light reveals a great draw with minimal smoke output but medium-full body flavors of a deep slightly sweet tobacco, very slick and oily with a long finish. The first third develops much the same adding a nice spice kick especially through the finish, with a bit of heat and zing washing over the tongue. 30 minutes in by the 1/2 way point it’s very consistent with no transitions yet. Ending at 1:10 minutes, the last bit dropped the sweetness, shifting to a deeper smooth earth flavor with a creamy finish, also dropping the pepper and spice. Thank you very much to Blancocigars.com for providing this sample for review!

Hey Bryan I love the review, and the info. about the traditional cuban blending, that’s neat stuff most of us wouldn’t hear and what makes your site awsome. I would like to hear an estimated price on the sticks you review. keep up the good work.

    • I leave out prices since they vary so wildly depending on where you are.

Did you cut the bush/tree by your fence or did you just move your chair to a different side of the patio? It threw me!

    • 1/2 of my star jasmine died this year 🙁 A big lime tree in the lot behind me died so they cut it down and now some of my plants get too much sun. I’ll put in some nice vines this fall to grow over the fence.
