Perdomo Champagne Noir Figurado Cigar Review

This 4.75×56 perfecto shaped stick has a profile of a bowling pin, a dark chocolate thick rustic wrapper with a firm pack, small veins, tight seams and a mild peppery wood aroma. First light reveals a very loose draw with plentiful mild smoke output giving flavors of a very oily and creamy textured sweet tobacco with a long finish. The first third goes very quickly with the 1/2 way point reached in just 25 minutes. Flavors are the same, just coming up to a mild-medium body. The last third starts off by bringing the body to a solid medium adding a bit of an almost bitter dry chocolate to the mix and dropping the sweetness. Ending at 45 minutes the last bit showed no further changes. Thank you very much to James Glenn for sending this sample in!

Have been thinkin about trying these, still might get a 5 pack but lean more to the full bodied side of things as i rarely smoke in the morning. Can’t wait to see a review of the Punisher! ;-)

hey Bryan, fyi on your cuban crafters cutter. I figured out a while back that the gold ring on the back pops in and out if you want a bigger hole for torpedos. I use the same cutter and hought of that when I noticed you usually take a couple clips of torpedos in your reviews. Didn’t know if you knew that

thanks for all the great reviews

I don’t believe it’s designed to be removed for normal use, and there’s no need, you just take a couple cuts.

i had this one in a sampler. and well i gave it to my brother- in -law since he likes to smoke milder cigars. i loved the aroma from it. ( i regret giving it to him now).

Bryan could you review the Perdomo Champagne 10th anniversary sometime? It’s one of my favorite Perdomos and I’d love to hear your thoughts on it.

I am with you on that Eric! I love the champagne too and would really like to see Bryan do a review of it. I have a few of the Tubos sitting in my humidor and can’t wait to smoke them.

I have a sampler pack of the 10th Anv. Champagne that came with 2 each of this Noir, Sun Grown & 10th Anv. Champagne (no other name). Ive only tried the Champagne, an a little past half way it was kicking my azz, I thought at the time from big nicotine strength. Ive been afraid to try the others, but since no one else seems to complain about these Im wondering if it was just me. I do have health issues and maybe I was just having a spell when I smoked this.
