Warlock Toro Cigar Review

This 6×54 stick features a dark brown very oily and slick wrapper with minimal veins, tight invisible seams, a few blemishes and spots, extremely firm even pack, double cap and mild barnyard and sweet hay aroma. First light reveals a fairly loose draw with medium-full body flavors of a slightly sweet earth and a finish of a smooth wood with a bit of pepper and spice, leaving an oily slick on the lips. The first third brings the body to a solid medium with a great burn. The ash is bright white and going a bit flowery, while the whole stick is getting quite warm. Smoke output is excellent with very smooth flavors of a sweet milk chocolate and earth combo, followed by a bit more of the pepper and spice that carries through the long finish. 45 minutes in at the 1/2 way point the as has fallen off once, it needed a quick relight and flavors remain unchanged. I ended it at 1:15 with almost 2 inches remaining because it got very hot for my taste. The last third showed no flavor shifts, continuing the same experience almost all the way down. Thank you very much to viewer Justin McGehee for generously sending this in for review, I greatly appreciate it!

This is my number 1 smoke. The flavor, construction, and price point are perfect. I will comment on a few things. Brian, if you are a fast smoker, this cigar heats up pretty quick. I usually smoke this cigar in about 1 1/2 hours to 1:45. The temp usually stays level and I don’t have to relight it. I also have a general rule with cigars, I ash every 1 inch to prevent the mishap of relighting and weird burns. I don’t have to think about it to much, but its just how I smoke, which plays into how this cigar works. Hopefully I am making sense.

This is making me re-consider trying it again. I hope that the next one is better than the one I got before. I had a bad experience with that one.

Ah, the Warlock! Now this was a good and rather interesting smoke. With such a smooth smoke and rich flavors, it makes for a good morning or afternoon smoke. Really, a good everyday smoke. I gave it a 8.5, recommended for those looking for a good and slightly complex smoke.

Just tried this smoke stick earlier tonight. Pretty tasty and was impressed with how long it lasted too. Also it wasn’t as strong as I was expecting. Anyway, I don’t think my review will be anything close to what Bryan has to say about it but i gotta say good choice for your smokeinn sampler sir!

This stick really suprised me, I first got it in a sampler from cigar.com about a year ago and didn’t expect it to be much, but I got to say it had some great flavors. Good review.

I would take a draw every thirty seconds or so and it still kept going out. It got to he point where I just gave up and threw the cigar away. Cheap enough for a daily smoke but not worth the trouble. Mine went out 5 times. no joke. 3 on it’s own and 2 times when the ash fell. -_-
