Torano Exodus 1959 Toro Cigar Review
Torano Exodus 1959 Toro Cigar Review
This 6×50 slightly box pressed stick offers a very dark chocolate, oily and slightly toothy wrapper with minimal veins, tight seams and a mild pepper aroma. First light reveals a loose draw, light airy smoke production and slightly sweet earthy flavors with a long light finish. The first third develops to a pretty plain slightly sweet earth mild-medium in body, but with great smoke output and a good burn. 30 min in at the 1/2 way point flavors remain the same while strength creeps up a bit above the body. By the start of the last third, flavors transitioned to a coffe and cream with a touch of caramel, and a solid medium body with even more smoke. Ending at the 1 hour mark, the last third continued the same great flavors for the remainder of the stick. Thank you very much to fellow smoker Brian Hemry for generously sending this in for review!

Well Done!!
I like it. The 50 Year Anniversary is much better though. Thanks for the review.
Been in my rotation since day 1: The Exodus.
Mild enough to a newbie. I rather prefer the robusto size, I think there’s a little more of that last third in the robusto.
Always solid and a great value. Great review
BTW, the robusto seems to me to be more like you describe the last 3rd for the majority of the smoke…
Looking for a good cheap stick to try, I have always like the whole Torano line and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a sub 4 buck stick that was like the Torano Exodus Silver cigars??
Try Cigarbid.com, lots of Torano sticks on there for cheap!
They also appear on Cigar Monster frequently, and shipping is usually free.
One of my all time favs right here. The silver edition is a little more mild but another great smoke as well. Great review as always!
Had one of these last night. Loved the flavors but got one that had very poor construction. Went out twice, tunneled and required a couple touch ups. Luckily all this really didnt wash out the flavors or get the stick too hot. Would buy it again for the flavors alone but hopefully the next ones construction will be more consistent with yours here Bryan.
Sounds like maybe your vendor kept it a bit too humid ?
I really like the torano line. the exodus 1959 is one of my favorite. never had problems with the burn.
Anyone tried the gold line. Heard it has big chocolate favors and who doesn’t like Chocolate? Another one to put on my list of cigars to try. There’s too many!
