La Aroma De Cuba Edicion Especial Lancero Cigar Review

This 7.5×38 medium tan stick offers a smooth almost seamless wrapper with a triple cap and very small veins with firm construction. Overall a medium body stick it packs a medium-full power kick, giving a slight buzz about 1/2 way through. Flavors were extremely smooth from first light to the nub and included a creamy leather, vanilla, roasted nuts, dry tobacco and a pepper & spice kick at various points throughout. Burn was excellent, holding 1″ of ash at a time with a perfect draw just slightly on the firm side. Total burn time to the last inch was 1:20 where it started to get warm. The amount of buzz I received during this video may have been mitigated if I had not chosen this as my ‘just rolled out of bed cigar’. I would not suggest doing as I did :) Thank you very much to Ashton Cigars for generously donating this for review! Photography by BG Pictures.

Bry … Nice review, but what happened to the goatee? I almost thought you had a stand-in today.

Hahhaa! Sometimes you have to change it up!

I just tired that San Cristobal Lancero you had up a few months ago. Really beautiful. Good burn. I’ll be interested in trying this La Aroma. What do you think is next on the Lance or Lonsdale list?

Hmmm not too sure, they are few and far between. I’ll have to check my local guy next time I stop in and see what’s available!

Great review Bryan! You’ve got a big fan from Lithuania. Like watching your reviews very much!
La Aroma De Cuba Edicion Especial Lancero- gonna be my X-mas smoke. Can’t wait.. ;)

    Welcome and thanks for viewing!

Picked up two samplers boxes for $100; not bad for 20 sticks; but honestly just waned to SC’s; but smoked the la aroma de cuba; found the last 1/3 to be the best . maybe with a few years; they may open up an blend into what the 1/3 was. I’d give me not more than B-

The La Aroma EE has been my personal favorite as of lately. I am enjoying everything blended by Pepin @myfather. I find the EE’s draw to be perfect with very nice favors. This cigar pairs very well with a hot green tea.

This cigar reminds me of the San Cristobal Seleccion del Sol. Have you tried it? Very good cigar and I love the spice that it leaves on your lips. :)

    Thanx Bryan for this review,
I believe I had a different size of their “Edicion Especial”, it was really smooth.

IMO everything that the Ashton company makes is a great smooth stick. I love the La Aroma De Cuba EE line, the regulr Ashton line, and the San Cristobol lines they’re all so smooth tasting.

This is one of my top tens. The only thing that would make it better in my opinion is a more noticeable spice feel. :)

Love this brand, definitely one of my favorites, I want to get a sampler with all their blends.

Hey, Bryan. The strength sneaking up on you here reminds me of the La Aurora 107 Maduro Lancero, though thankfully it didn’t hit as hard! Will have to pick up the sampler in the future. Thanks again for the review! God bless, brother.
