Arturo Fuente Don Carlos #3 Cigar Review
Arturo Fuente Don Carlos #3 Cigar Review
This 5.5×44 stick offered a medium body but medium-full strength experience. Burn was excellent, draw was on the firm side and excellent all the way down. Flavors were simple, offering one major flavor at a time, changing near the half way point from slightly sweet earthy to a little woody. Finish was short and clean with a bit of a pepper kick to enjoy only on the finish. Burn time to just past the band was 1:30 where it started getting a little warm. Thank you very much to Cigarsdirect.com for generously donating this stick for review! Photography by BG Pictures.

I saw a neat documentary about the Fuente family business. Very cool!! All generations are involved in the business. I have never had and AF, something I look forward to someday.
Had to check this one out given today’s events. Love watching your old reviews, they are so different then the ones now days.
I have one of these sitting in the humidor but I might let it age while I build up my strength tolerance. I had the Don Carlos robusto and i remember it being pretty strong but not so bad that I had to stop or anything, and if I recall I noticed a couple flavor changes throughout the cigar. Hopefully this one is just as good!
