Pinar Del Rio Clasico Torpedo Cigar Review

Posted on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 in Cigar Reviews

This 6.5×52 torpedo stick offered a silky smooth natural wrapper, giving tons of smooth rich smoke at every draw. Draw was loose but worked perfectly, with an almost razor sharp burn all the way down. Smoke time to the band was 2 hours, very impressive for a $5 stick! Body was mild-medium while flavor was near full strength – very deceptive! Flavors were a smooth wood with a black pepper bite to the first half, transitioning to a hazelnut and slight menthol-like experience and a milder pepper on the finish for the last half. Thank you very much to Pinar Del Rio Cigars for generously donating this stick for review, it’s greatly appreciated!
