CAO Mx2 Belicoso Cigar Review

This 7×56 double maduro stick offered sweet tobacco, coffee, caramel flavors, thick, rich, smooth smoke, pepper and spice on the long lingering finish that cleaned up towards the end. The draw was perfect with just the right amount of resistance and an very good burn with only a minor touch-up/relight required near the end. Just about 2 hours long!

Nice review. I just had one of these for the first time a couple weeks ago, got about 80 min of smooth maduro enjoyment out of it!

I like CAO cigars but the one i tried the burn was funky which sparked a relight with bad taste after

This was my first favorite stick shortly after it came out, I went through a few boxes of the Toro’s. They were all delicious, sadly most of them had burn issues, tasty nevertheless.

I’m similar to you Bryan, CAO is hit or miss for me. I’ve had some really good ones and some not so good ones, this one really impressed me though. Good review.

I found this one to be a rather boring cigar that smoked for a long time sure, but didn’t keep me very interested. I’m not a fan of the CAO line so if someone is, then they might disagree and really like the flavor profile.

For some reason, I love all CAOs. I have had a couple with different tightness packing of the tobacco, but for the most part they were all even smokes and never give me problems. I love the Mx2s. One of the first cigars I started smoking. Also a big fan of the Brazilias. I’m definitely a Maduro cigar fan.

Bryan, Who does your video editing? graphic work? If you have time, send me a message at dcpeters@comcast.net. I am a minor graphic designer and I am always looking to help people, expand my portfolio (it’s pretty small right now), and get experience. Love the videos and the reviews. Nothing like it.

I have one of these waiting to be smoked, but after this review I guess I should block out more time than I thought for it. Great review.

Had one of these the other day in box press the flavors were great for the first half, but then I started to have construction issues. I was not happy to find woody stems in the second half. The last three CAOs I’v had, have had awful draws and bad construction. Don’t know if I’m very unlucky or doing something wrong, or maybe a little of both. -appreciate the videos-

The CAO MX2 I had recently was very enjoyable with flavor notes of espresso coffee, a little cedar, and black earth. A nice change from the Connecticut sweet cream and cedar profiles of so many other cigars. The draw and construction were excellent too. Never had to touch it up. Good burn and highly recommended.
