This 6.5×52 stick offered a great amount of thick, rich smoke with a perfect draw and very good burn, lasting almost 2 hours! Flavors were a medium-full bodied combination of creamy smooth wood, tobacco and nuts in the last third, with a good pepper kick through the first half. The finish was on the long side and had a substantial mouth feel, but never overwhelming. Certainly worth up to $20 simply because of the long duration and excellent performance.

I loved this cigar! The first time I had it was on the 4th of July 2 years ago. The draw was a little tight but never the less gave that very distinctive Opus X flavor however I haven’t seen it in a while. Do you know where I can find this cigar?

This cigar looks so good but its just a little bit out of my price range but maybe I’ll get a chance to try it soon.

Unfortunately, he won’t be able to hear you above all that shouting. 😉

One of my friends gave me the Opus X but in a smaller size than this. I have not smoked it yet, but he said that it was nothing special, like Bryan said. We will see!

this one is on my wish list for a while.. I’ve read good things but for the price I can get like 4 wonderful cigars.

one day I might give it a go.

I just watched all the Opus X reviews. I am surprised that 2 of them seem to have construction problems. Oh well, it won’t stop me from trying to get my hands on some though lol

I’ve heard a lot of people practically worship this cigar. One day I will try one I’m sure and maybe then I will be able to see what all the fuss is about.

Not to kick up an old thread, but I am new to the site. I have been pondering over what would make this cigar demand prices of around $25 a stick. Even considered buying one just to say I have tried it. Thanks to your review, I no longer have any desire to lol. You just saved me $25 on what seems to be a run of the mill good cigar.

I’ve wanted to try an Opus X for awhile but they’re just so pricy, I was able to pick up a few samplers recently that featured some Opuses so I was finally able to get some at a reduced price.
