Excellent smoke! Great draw and burn, plenty of rich thick smoke on an easy draw with slight resistance. Very complex flavor profiles that change through the burn including pepper, toast, earth, nuts, caramel and coffee. 1 1/4 hour stick. Highly recommended.

  • Nice review as always. I’d also like to see the Maduro version of this reviewed. I had one years ago, but it was right when I started smoking and I hardly remember it.

  • “Doing a little Dance In My Mouth” Had to laugh.. Great review and sounds like an awesome smoke. Too strong for me probably though.

I have one of these in my humi now, double corona size. I can’t wait to smoke it! I’ll probably smoke it after a nice dinner. How much age did you put on this stick before u smoked it?

  • None, I bought it locally and lit it up!

Hey Bryan, I just tried the 1964 and I must say I agree with you on the peppers about 3/4 of the way through…it almost seemed like everything BUT the pepper flattened out. All in asl I have to say that I’m still a bigger fan of the 1926 No. 6.

    Hi Bryan,
this review of yours made me realize you are my cigar Guru 🙂

    I LOVE Padrones!
tried almost all the simple sticks they have
2000-6000)and loved them, and I found I get exactly the flavoreds you get in these.

the 1964 was a wonderful cigar, a bit heavy for me but still an amazing smoke.

    Thanks for this review!!

Had this one a few nights ago and I have to say the flavors were great and all butthe ash only held on slightly more than an inch each time and it was kind of annoying. Great review.
