Rocky Patel The Edge Torpepdo Cigar Review

Lots of cool, rich smoke offering a very creamy smooth texture. Medium-full bodies flavor consisting of a great complexity: nuts, caramel, coffee, leather, mocha, and a touch of pepper on a clean short finish. Great smoke! Slow burning, 1 1/4 hours. Available as a cosmetic factory second called X-Out Liga “A”.

Great review ya definitely pick up some lights gives off a lot of cream flavor i love both of those they are great. Both are my go to smokes because i know i love both of the flavor profiles and they are both made well and are always a pleasure to smoke.

I have a couple of these in my humi now, haven’t had The Edge yet, however, I did smoke the Edge Lite, pretty good smoke, very creamy and good flavor. I am sure you will like it.

I have one in my humi right now, but have not smoked it yet. I have smoked the Edge Maduro and that is a nice smoke also! My brother-in-law just loves the Edge Maduro Battalion’s.

I might have to try the Lite also, if I can eve find it in our small local stores where i live.

How did the Edge Light compare to this one?

    • It’s been so long I don’t even remember.

  • Slizzard Lizard

Yes the edge lights are great. Super creamy flavor. Nice smoke. Will have to smoke the original edge. Got one sitting in my humidifier now. Maybey in a week or two:-/

this is one of those that once you smoke it you cant believe hoe cheap it was. I have smoked 10+ dollar cigars that couldent hold a candle to the edge. I ALWAYS have a few of these on hand and at the price you can give one or two away to buddies.

WINNER!!! 4 STARS (out of 4 stars)!

I’m new to cigars but this and the Rocky Patel Sun Grown to date have been my best experiences. The burn, draw and flavours I thought were amazing.

i have the maduro coronas in my humidor, excellent excellent sticks. i highly recommend buying them as the “x-outs” because they perform great and they look pretty great too. i picked up a mazo of 15 for around 20 bucks. thats a steal

Is there anything wrong with the X-Outs. I just watched this review for the first time as RP’s are usually some of my favorites. I checked out the X-outs on CI and they seem like a great deal if they are the exact same Cigar. Thanks for the tip again Bryan!

I bought a bundle of them last month to supplement as my “yardgar” and they have come to be my new “go to” stick.
I have only come across one that even looked like it should be a Secundo and that was because the wrapper had a bit of stretch in it.
Bottom line, they are phenomenal especially for the price!

Awesome thanks! I will definitely be looking for a deal on these. Can’t beat a value Cigar at a below value price!

I have realized that emailing one of the guys at cigar.com with what I want usually nets me free shipping and a slightly better price also.

Good review, I get very similar flavors out of these nuts, caramel, coffee, leather, and some complexity. This is my favorite of the Edge line that I’ve had so far, but I still have to try some of the others too.

There is The Edge Lite, with a connecticut wrapper…. claims to be creamier… which may satisfy your wish

  • sschartau

Awesome to see the progression of your videos over the years!

Got some seconds from holts and I could not find a single reason they would be seconds, sometimes they must just kick out a few so they will have seconds to sell, just my idea.

    Excellent flavor and burn quality.
